Dacryphilia

Dacryphilia :   “pleasure or arousal derived from tears”

BDSM scenes make it possible to gain pleasure from someone else’s suffering.  In other circles of daily life, you might be called an insensative prick for gaining pleasure from seeing someone cry.

For me, during a scene, I actually experience pleasure from my own tears.  In a good hard scene where I’m flogged, caned, paddled, and bruised– crying becomes an emotional release.  During a scene, crying doesn’t make me feel “weak” or “vulnerable” or “embarrassed”, as I might during every day life.  In fact, in a scene, if  I’m not sobbing hysterically, it’s just not going to be as satisfying of a scene. Now it adds an extra element if the Dom restricts when I can “let go”,  and only allows me to cry at a certain time.

I’ve learned to warn new play partners, because my tears have actually scared and concerned some of them.  No, I have never been abused.  And No, this is not causing me to relive some form of trauma.  Crying is just my form of release.  Tears ultimately make me happy.

What’s your form of release?  crying-eye

Humiliation

So, my new nickname-  it’s “snot rag”.  How did I get this nickname??

I wouldn’t bark like a dog.

…I’m not a sub that generally enjoys humiliation, just for the sake of humiliation.   And to me, barking like a dog was just plain humiliating.  (I mean no offense to those who are into puppy play- it’s just not for me!!).

While I was tied to a bench face down, with my wrists and ankles restrained, being  flogged and single-tailed and paddled until tears, drool, and snot were dripping down my face and streaking my hair, I defiantly would not bark like a dog.

That’s right, to me, it was less humiliating to have a napkin actually stuck onto my cheek by tears and snot, than to bark like a dog.         So the beating continued…  and now I’m known as “snot rag”.   And oddly enough, I rather like this new “pet name”.

I find it facinating how much humiliation differs between individuals, what may turn another person on, may be a complete “deal breaker” for another.

Here’s an interesting list of activities that may be considered humiliating.
