In this low economic period, it may seem unfathomable to spend extra money on toys or special equipment to beat and torture your play partners with– (I have been drooling over “The Mop“,  but won’t be able to rationalize buying it for quite some time to come!).   BUT- you can find some interesting ideas for toys and torture implements in some unexpected places!

Some of my favorite toys came from kitchen stores, dollar stores, and hardware stores.  I have 5 metal guitar finger pics that I picked up for cheap at Guitar Center and sharpened.

One nasty implement I’ve formed a love/hate relationship with is a stainless steel spatula covered in silicone- found at Ikea for 97 cents.    

I’ve also incorporated items like coat hangers, wooden spoons, hair brushes, plastic hair clips, and clothes pins into play.  All of which you can get very cheaply at a dollar store.  Items such as rope, chain, clamps, carabiners are always handy and found at any hardware store.

Now, walking through such stores with my play partner has become a form of foreplay for me!

The high heel is actually quite complex in it’s context in society and psychology.  The high heel symbolizes femininity, but also male dominance and a desire to please men.  The heel can also be looked at as a form of female dominance- especially if worn by a Mistress.  The high heel has even been referred to as a phallic symbol.  And it could certainly be used as a weapon of pain (ever have someone wearing heels step on your foot? or on your chest, or your balls, for that matter?).

Some women say that high heels gives them a sense of empowerment, gives them authority, or makes them feel sexier… but let’s face it, wearing high heels actually puts you at a disadvantage (at the very least, it’s quite difficult to run after anyone!)

For me, I believe wearing high heels is a form of personal torture.  I will endure the pain of wearing 5″ heels over the course of a long fetish event, especially if I’m with an appreciative Dom.  And at the end of the night, I may just give in to that person with a foot fetish who is dying to give me a massage
